Galileo Coffee

21 Sep

I feel very fortunate that I get to spend a fair bit of time in Whistler for both work and pleasure. Driving the sea to sky highway on a clear sunny day is truly spectacular. Words can not explain how beautiful this backdrop is, if you have never done it get out your bucket list and add another bullet, you will not be disappointed. Words also can not explain why Galileo Coffee is soooo delicious.

This place is seriously the bomb! Yes I just went back in time and used “the bomb” like it was still a cool thing to say…sorry I just couldn’t come up with a better way to describe it and it really is the bomb! Located just off highway 99 in Britannia Beach, between Furry Creek and Squamish, Galileo Coffee Company and Roastery is much more than meets than eye. It may appear to be a random house on the side of the road with and open sign, but it’s really a heritage house filled with coffee goodness.

Once you are inside you will be blown away. They roast their beans right inside that cute white house, literally, you can even watch if you want. They also serve a selection of different coffees, teas, sandwiches and baked goods; everything is made fresh in this house of love.  Next time you are driving along highway 99 be sure to stop and grab yourself a latte, caprese sandwich and a giant cookie…your taste buds will thank you, I promise! If you enjoy drip coffee grab yourself a bag of the sea to sky blend, whatever you do just pull over and go inside and experience the delicious smell of freshly roasted coffee beans and the best cup of joe ever!

Seriously, forget Starbucks you NEED to try Galileo Coffee it will blow your mind…sorry Pumpkin Spice Latte I still love you!
